the Aida cup is made from a white clay body, wheel-thrown, slowly dried, trimmed and hand-painted by me from start to finish. she holds about 12 oz so she's just right for your morning chai, your afternoon coffee, your night cap.
the lidded ones are thrown as one closed piece and hand-cut, so you can sip straight through the opening or pop in a straw (splash-reducing, but not fully sealed — so keep her upright 🤍). Or you can choose lid-less to keep it simple.
you can also choose a skin tone for her!
because she's hand-painted and dip-glazed by hand, the color lands a little differently every time, and no two faces are ever exactly alike. if you spot little marks on the clay, those are just kisses from the steel tools that trimmed her & proof she was made by a person. ☺️
care: hand wash with warm water and let her dry fully before her next cup. she'd rather skip long soaks, but dishwashing in a light load is fine. a little looking-after keeps her face bright.
