Original Terra Cotta Incense Burner

Made from iron-rich Kansas clay, this handthrown and sculpted bakhoor (incense) burner is functional AND beautiful. The removable lid lets you easily place your coal and Bakhoor inside, or swap in a tea light if you prefer. You can find the wide version here.

You might notice small marks from the trimming tool on the raw clay body, but those are just kisses from the steel tools I use to trim. They’re just proof it was made by a person. :)

Over time, the clay will darken beautifully from incense use. That patina is just sign that the incense burner is becoming yours.

If you’d like to wipe it down, do so with a damper towel. This clay is naturally absorbent, so keep it away from excess water and always make sure it’s completely dry before use.
